Paul Moultrie was appointed Head of Airline Marketing for Airbus Latin America and the Caribbean in August 2015. Based in Miami, Paul is responsible for all Airbus marketing campaigns and activities in the region and leads a team that develops campaign strategies to best position Airbus aircraft in the market. He possesses a comprehensive understanding of regional markets and their influence on new product developments, and a thorough and unique understanding of Latin American and Middle Eastern airlines in particular. Prior to joining the Latin America and Caribbean team, Paul held various positions, including Head of Marketing, in the Airbus Middle East and North Africa business unit based in Dubai. From 2006 to 2013 he was a Sales Director with responsibility for organising, directing and achieving the sale of aircraft to airlines such as Qatar Airways, Gulf Air and Middle East Airlines. Paul originally joined the Airbus Marketing Department in Toulouse in 1998 where he worked for a number of years implementing marketing strategies for several airline customers in Europe and Asia before moving to the Middle East in 2002. Before joining Airbus, Paul was an Economics Analyst at the Aviation Information and Research Division of the International Air Transport Association in London. Paul holds a Master’s Degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University in the U.K. He was born in London in 1969, and is an engineer by education having studied Aeronautics and Astronautics at the University of Southampton in the U.K. prior to pursuing his Master’s. Today Paul lives in Miami, home of Airbus Latin America and Caribbean regional headquarters. He is married with two children and is a keen football supporter and golfer. Paul is a native English speaker, and also fluent in French and Spanish.
